EDA UCHI KAI | BONSAI ENTHUSIASTS SINCE 2004
The literal meaning of Eda Uchi Kai is: The harmonising effect on branches, position, condition, length and undulation. Not surprisingly, this is what we’re trying to accomplish with our trees.
We are an independent bonsai club based in Diepenbeek, Belgium. We have around 30 active and enthusiastic members, who meet every first Monday of the month
Besides sharing the same passion, the objective of our club is to discuss and improve our bonsai. We strive to bring our trees to higher levels, and we accomplish this by learning from leading bonsai professionals from around the world, and also from each other. As a result, we’re quite proud that some of our members’ bonsai have gained national and international recognition and won prizes and awards.
Every time we meet, there’s a special theme. It could be a demo from a pro to show us techniques how to improve deadwood features on our trees. Recently we also created kusamono and shitakusa accent plants, that we can use when we display our trees.
We always welcome new members, as we’re happy to share our passion and knowledge. So if you feel the same about bonsai, think about joining us. The best way to do this is to contact us, and attend one of our events. We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
